Women’s Camo Pants

Camo gets much easier to wear when everything else stays simple. Neutrals and clean silhouettes let the print be the interesting part.

Women’s camo pants were one of those military-inspired trends I had fun with, and the print still works for me when the rest of the outfit stays simple.

Women’s camo pants come in a few styles, from the traditional cargo pants, to track pants, leggings, joggers and of course jeans – which is what I love the most about them. I love finding new ways to “do denim” other than skinny jeans and distressed jeans. I have not embraced the flared jean style yet (I am far too short – I haven’t found that the look flatters me). Women’s camo pants and prints give me a bit more flexibility with denim.

There are a few colors I have come across in the style; the traditional military-inspired green, shades of grey, shades of brown and even shades of blue. Though the camo print pants were originally made to help troops hide from their enemies – these stylish women’s camo pants are meant to be seen!

Though I stayed fairly neutral with this look – I would love to pair these jeans with a great cobalt blue sweater or a deep rust color.

If the olive side of camo is what you like, Shades of Khaki stays in that same earthy palette. And if you just like the idea of treating a print like a neutral, animal print is where I really committed to that philosophy.
